About ‘Common redshank in High Key’ by John Goossens Photography

On the Dutch Wadden Islands, springtime is fantastic. Thousands of birds find their way to the nutrient-rich Wadden area to fatten up for migration. Some species also breed there.

I was able to capture this redshank on the island of Ameland. I chose a slight overexposure to get a high key photo that exudes tranquillity.
