About the artwork

A drawing of a Common firecrest. The little bird sits on a diagonal branch with green leaves. You can see the bird a little from above so you can see its back well. In the background, in soft light blue, you can see a structure of small down feathers that are just rendered large. This is quite subtle and not immediately noticeable. The scene was drawn in Pro create, a digital drawing programme. The firecrest grows to 9 to 10 cm and is slightly larger than the closely related goldcrest, which is the smallest European bird species. The fire goldcrest is very similar to the goldcrest. Notable differences are the white eye stripe and a different sound.[2] Its plumage has a grey-green upper surface, a light grey underside and a black and white eye stripe. The female has a yellow crest, the male an orange crest (which, however, is only clearly visible when the bird puts on its crest feathers), around which there is a black band.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
