This world map is a hand painted watercolour, using the "wet on wet" painting technique. The map has sharp edges and a nice contrast between the colourful land and the white sea.
All colours have a clear link with the climate of the country or continent. Alaska is cold and has a blue colour. Africa is dry and woody and has a yellow-orange and dark green color.
