About ‘Colosseum during sunset’ by Maaike van Perlo - Verhoef
The Italian capital Rome is home to one of the seven wonders of the world, the imposing Colosseum. This flavic amphitheatre is Rome's showpiece. During sunset, the orange sun rays fall beautifully through the arches of the third ring. The green bushes in the foreground keep you from being distracted by the hustle and bustle of the city.

My name is Maaike Verhoef. Together with my partner, I am currently travelling all over the world. We love nature and you can regularly find us in the mountains.
