During sunset, there was no sun on this cliff where a colony of griffon vultures breeds annually. These vultures were already ready to spend the night here.
The photo was shot at a wider aperture to get the rocky outcrops in focus as well. By also zooming out, I tried to show a bit more of the habitat of these giant birds.
Ronald Buitendijk started a few years ago with photographing animals he was looking for. With great pleasure he goes looking for wild animals to put them on film. Of course this is done in a way to disturb the animals as little as possible.
