A portrait of the clown of the sea, a puffin. Because of its colored beak, it has been given this nickname. A bird that lives in groups on the sea and meets annually in the spring on an island to raise the little ones.
They are very small birds that waddle around a bit on the mainland. On the island in Wales where this photo was taken, the seabirds make their holes in the ground or in a former rabbit hole.
You can surround yourself with thousands of puffins, but sometimes there is one bird that grabs your attention.
Photography for me is a way to tell stories. To let people be amazed and inspired, by big and small things you encounter in nature. A passion with which I want to convey a piece of love for nature.
