About ‘Close-up of an elephant's wrinkled skin’ by Troy Wegman

This vertical wall art shows the head of an elephant, with its eye and wrinkled skin filling the whole frame. Warm reddish-brown tones run across the trunk and skin, while the background fades into cool blue-grey shadow. Light falling from the side brings out every fold and the dark speckles in the skin.

Elephants are known for their dignified presence and strong bonds within the herd. This print focuses entirely on the animal itself. Its skin, its gaze and the calm it radiates take centre stage. The result is a quiet but powerful piece of nature art, with nothing to distract from the subject.

The vertical format suits a space above a sideboard, a narrow hallway or any wall that needs a focal point. In the living room or bedroom, the warm tones bring a settled, peaceful atmosphere. A wildlife piece for anyone who loves animals and nature, and a way to add depth to a room.
