The spring flower the tulip remains one of my favorites, especially in the color white. This flower really heralds spring for me and is a rewarding object to photograph. I made a macro photo of one of the petals. It fascinates me to look at the beauty of nature up close and render it. We usually look at the bigger picture nl a bunch of flowers. Here the light falls into the inside of the tulip, making the veins of a petal clearly visible. Look at the beautiful subtle edge that is just a little curled up. Fine lines can be seen when you look at the work from close up and when you stand further away the white color and the transparency create a soft look. The contrast with the blue background again creates a fresh and cool look. This work will look good in a bright room for example a bedroom. The work can also be combined well with several works because the work is quite neutral and the subject is not too busy. A triptych of tulips would also work very well.
