About ‘Close-up of a small fly agaric in the woods’ by Arthur Puls Photography
Special composition of a small fly agaric in the forest. The forest floor and undergrowth is largely out of focus and so are the larger fly agaric species in the background, making the small fly agaric really stand out.

UTRECHT, Netherlands
Going out and clicking pictures of what I encounter is one of my passions. The challenge is to make the most of the interplay between weather, light and landscape.
On the one hand I capture the grandeur of the landscape. On the other hand I am always looking for details that I can enlarge. I always follow the light. I shoot in the surroundings of Utrecht; Amelisweerd, Krommerijnstreek, Utrechtse Heuvelrug but also regularly elsewhere in the country.
