About the artwork

- Confucius.

Big changes start with small ideas. If my photos lead to more awareness of the fragility of our beautiful nature, then that is my ultimate applause.
I've been photographing since I was young but even now that I'm much older I still see new aspects of nature every day. The details are so beautiful that I want to capture them. My idea/goal is to show people the beauty of nature with all its diversity so that they also get surprised of what nature has to offer. For example during a car trip, bike ride or just walking. It is always there but you just have to see it. You just have to catch your eye and then you will see more and more.
That process is easier if you have seen a picture of someone who is looking for it, captures it and shares it. By seeing it you start to see it (of)yourself and maybe you will be disturbed by the pollution that is increasingly visible. You pick something up and throw it in a garbage can instead of walking on.
When you take a closer look at an insect, you see how fantastic nature is. I often hear that my photos of insects and other small animals make people look at them in a different way. They tell me that they now put that scary spider outside with a jar or move it to another spot with a broom. Anything is better than killing it!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
