Early in the morning, around eight o'clock, I walked along Praia da Falésia. The beach was still quiet, the first rays of sunlight hitting the cliffs.
What touched me? How the light brought those cliffs to life. Bright white, warm orange, deep red. As if nature itself made a painting. On the beach one blue parasol with a single beach visitor, who already found her place. That small human detail made the grandeur of those cliffs even more impressive.
This was that brief, magical moment when the day awakens. Just before the beach fills with life. I stood there and thought: this is what I want to hold on to. This peace, this space, this silence that takes you away for a moment. A panorama that shows the impressive beauty of nature at the same time.
Perfect for those who want to experience a piece of that Portuguese morning silence at home. Because that's what a good travel photo does. It doesn't just take you back to that place. It lets you experience a piece of that Portuguese morning silence permanently.
