That's the island of Rügen in the Baltic Sea for me. Chalk cliffs that keep recreating themselves. Changing. Where new things emerge from demolitions. Nature reflects transience.
The Baltic Sea in shades from blue to green. Different every day, enchanting every day. Erratic blocks, chicken gods and donkey wedges. Yes, also fish rolls and Bodden perch. Rain and sun, gladly in alternation. A fresh breeze. A sandy beach and a beach chair. Amber and sea buckthorn. The chalk cliffs from Sassnitz are a must-see. Again and again we discover new impressions of this so special landscape. Yes, definitely one of my favourite places on Rügen!
