Castle of Savigny-lès-Beaune.
This castle was built around 1340 by Jean de Frolois for Duke Odo IV of Burgundy.
In 1478, it was destroyed on the orders of Louis XI but restored at the beginning of the 17th century.
In 1979, the castle was bought by Michel Pont, a former pilot, former rally driver and collector After the purchase, he began a general renovation. He established nine museums with important collections from tractors to aircraft, attracting some'000 visitors a year. Thus, he has the world's largest private collection of fighter aircraft.
