About "Caribbean woman with pineapple as surreal portrait"

About the artwork

Another surreal portrait for my series: "Veggie Ladies". This time the pineapple is in the foreground. I immediately associate this fruit with cocktails, summer, holidays and the Caribbean. That's why I chose a dark-skinned type this time and painted her bright green eyes as a little special feature. This reminds me of the Creole type, which I also like very much. As with all the pictures in this series, this time only parts of pineapple photos were used to create the dress and the headdress. Sometimes top view, sometimes pineapple in an early growth stage, sometimes as a slice etc. Of course, I adapted the proportions of the photos to my purposes and applied a painting filter to make them fit the woman, because this beauty is, of course, hand-painted as always. Take the time to look at the portrait in detail. Can you hear the gentle sound of the waves on the beach? Can you feel the light breeze and the warmth of the sun on your skin? Sounds of steel drums reach your ears. Where the music is playing, there must be delicious cocktails with pineapple and tropical decorations. "Welcome to the Caribbean".

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
