The picture of Cap Formentor was taken in almost complete darkness. The exposure time was just under 5 minutes, so that the cars driving along the winding road during this long time created beautiful traces of light in the picture.
Such long exposure times are very demanding photographically! That night the sky was cloudy and there was a strong wind. This always harbours the risk of the wind shaking the tripod too much and the whole shot looking blurred. In this case, however, we managed to take an absolutely razor-sharp picture in which both the foreground and the lighthouse itself are perfectly depicted.
The picture was professionally photographed and is printed with a great deal of expertise. A unique piece of Mallorca for your own four walls!
