The town of Flatford in England is home to a park that owes its fame to the painter Constable. Besides a small museum, it is an interesting place to take a nice stroll around.
This picture shows a man in a canoe, gliding quietly through the landscape. In doing so, he (probably unknowingly) forms a nice backdrop in combination with the trees, where he is passing exactly under the arch they form.
I did the conversion to black and white mainly to prevent the colour from becoming the main motif, whereas I think the textures should jump out of the photo. The format size determines what the viewer gets to see. The structure of the trees is very nice and antiquity has left its signature in the trunks.
