If you talk about beautiful colours in a bird, the jay is an example of this. At first, it doesn't seem very special, but if you look closely, there are lots of colours in its feather coat. From light brown through grey to a bright blue colour, which you can see very nicely in flight. This photo was taken from a viewing hut, where several beautiful tree trunks have been placed, making it possible to create different compositions (provided the birds are willing to sit in alternate places).
