Johann Heinrich Ferdinand Olivier (Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany 1 April 1785 - Munich, Bavaria 11 February 1841) was a German painter, lithographer and Protestant. He belonged to the Nazarene movement, with strong roots in German Romanticism. After a journey through the Harz Mountains in 1810, together with his brother Friedrich, he settled in Vienna in 1811, where he married and started a studio. There he became friends with the members of the so-called Luke's guild, the later Nazarenes.
