Calm Waters – A Mysterious Landscape in Shades of Green | A Silhouette by the Water

by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

Calm Waters is an atmospheric digital artwork depicting a tranquil lake beneath dark clouds. Standing by the water is the silhouette of a man who appears to be lost in thought. The combination of silence, nature and the mysterious sky gives the image an almost cinematic quality.

The work is composed of various shades of green, including emerald green, petrol, olive green and sage green, combined with anthracite, grey and beige. The dark clouds and the still water create a stark contrast between menace and tranquillity.

The subtle texture in the background gives the digital artwork a grungy, almost painted look. As a result, ‘Calm Waters’ does not feel like a traditional landscape painting, but rather a modern and mysterious interpretation of a moment of contemplation by the water.

This green nature art and mysterious landscape art fits beautifully into a modern, industrial, natural or tranquil interior. A unique piece of art for the living room, bedroom, study or any other space where you wish to create a sense of tranquillity and reflection.

Calm Waters captures a quiet moment: dark clouds above the water, a solitary figure and the tranquillity that arises when you lose yourself in your thoughts for a moment.
