Twelve o'clock on a sunny autumn day. Special wisps of clouds frame the tower of the Great Church of Breda, which proudly rises above the roofs. At its foot lies the Tolbrugstraat, which runs in the direction of the Grote Markt of Breda. The afternoon sun created powerful shadows. Converted to black and white, a lively photo emerged, with lots of structure. Note: on the side of the Great Church there was scaffolding for maintenance work. Not dominantly present, but visible.
What started out as travel photography in the 1990s grew into a hobby that got out of hand. Photography became a daily activity.
