About the artwork

The mighty statue of Ludwig van Beethoven rises up in front of the venerable main post office in the Fürstenberg Palace, like a silent guardian of music history. He sits enthroned on Bonn's Münsterplatz, cast in bronze, with a stern gaze and the aura of genius. His coat seems to be blowing in the wind, as if to remind us that his compositions are still alive today - powerful, passionate, everlasting.
Behind him is the bright yellow post office with its green shutters - a building that frames the scenery almost picturesquely and yet recedes into the background, leaving the master the space in the foreground. Past and present, history and contemporary culture merge here: the everyday lives of the people who walk past the square and the eternity of the sounds that Beethoven gave the world.
Standing here, you feel more than just the urban hustle and bustle of Bonn. You can feel the power of inspiration that was born in this city and went out into the world from here. The Münsterplatz thus becomes a resonating space in which history breathes, art speaks and Beethoven - immobile and yet full of inner movement - remains a monument that points far beyond stone and bronze.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
