About ‘Bonaire - Run Away’ by K. Pauw Photography

This picture tells the story of farewell and beginning. Of letting go of what is familiar and embracing a new life on the island where the sun promises every day will be good. The soft colours of the sky and the calm of the sea symbolise hope, freedom and a fresh start.

For me personally, the image captures the feeling of emigrating to Bonaire. Not only the physical journey across the ocean, but also the inner journey of daring to dream, choosing change and coming home to the unknown.

The sea catches everything you leave behind, but also bestows peace, space and a sense of coming home. In its depth lies the confidence that change brings something beautiful.

A picture for anyone who has ever followed their heart towards a new horizon.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
