Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress "Sally B" deployed the landing at Duxford during the Flying Legend Airshow.
The Boeing B-17 Sally B. is the last flying aircraft in Europe. Worldwide a small number of these aircraft are still flying. The four-engined bomber owes its nickname 'flying fortress' to its equipment with thirteen machine guns and cargo space for a maximum of 3,600 kilos of bombs.
The aircraft is owned by the Imperial War Museum in Duxford.
