In the middle of winter, the blue tit feeds among the iris beds, also known as cigars. After the cypresses bloom, they become very fluffy and soft. I really like the colour combination of this beautiful little bird among the brown fluffy cypresses. I took this picture on my local patch, the Grienedyk near Sneek: a warm reminder of the cool winter. Very nice to hang such a little bird enlarged on the wall. The small depth of focus gives this artwork more atmosphere.
