On the grey, slightly weathered saucer are the blue grapes, still with the bulb attached, powerful and robust.
The deep blue flowers stand out beautifully against the dark blue background. Small feathers surround the flowers, giving the whole thing a natural feel, as if they were plucked straight from nature.
Of course, I didn't just pluck them from nature but came across them at the flower shop. There they were on the counter and I had to take them with me to photograph.
A few tiny eggs, not too perfect, are scattered among the bulbs and feathers, giving this still life a touch of spring. The picture has something fragile and sturdy at the same time.
This image exudes a budding spring but in a beautiful and serene moody atmosphere. The light from the side creates a tranquil image as if the flowers have been there for centuries. Like on an old master's canvas.
I am a photographer with broad interests. I enjoy taking portraits of children and love to photograph families and households.
