This is a restored image of a school plate that used to hang in a lot of classrooms. Maybe you remember it from your childhood. The original edition was by Wolters from Groningen - The Hague. This school place was made by Koekoek. He shows what fish live in the fresh water of ditches and ponds. We see eels, a pike, a perch, a bleak and many more. Originally, this picture was printed in 84 x 64 cm format. That is also a very nice size to hang it on your wall. Because this is a restoration of a very old school plate, some of the weathering has not been removed and left as it is.
Because this is an old picture, it is okay to show that. It adds to the authenticity of the image.
If this school chart takes you back to your youth, it is a beautiful image to hang on your wall.
