Even before the sun appears on the horizon, the new day sends its first rays of light across the sea.
This image was created using a special shooting technique in which the camera is moved horizontally during the shot. This causes the sea to lose its structure and creates a dynamic effect in the picture.
The picture lives from the reduction to two colours. It is timeless and is particularly effective in large print formats as a solitaire on a correspondingly large wall.
Photography is painting with light. According to this motto, my pictures are created, whether as a long exposure or simply in the first or last light of the day.
