About "Benediktsplatz with a view of the Krämerbrücke"

About the artwork

The picture shows a nocturnal scene on Benediktsplatz in Erfurt with a view of the historic Krämerbrücke. The picture is characterised by cobblestones, warm street lighting and decorative fairy lights strung between the buildings. On the left in the foreground is a building with the words "Stilleben" (still life) - a reference to the connection between art and everyday life. The street is deserted, which lends the motif a calm, almost contemplative effect.

Benediktsplatz is located at the southern entrance to the Krämerbrücke, one of Erfurt's most famous landmarks. The bridge is unique in Europe: completely built up with houses and continuously inhabited since the Middle Ages. The square in front of it forms a transition between urban life and historical backdrop.

My inspiration for this picture was the special mood of this place at night - reduced to light, structure and atmosphere. The scene does not look staged, but observed - a quiet moment in public space.

In interior design, this work brings a mixture of urban tranquillity, architectural clarity and timeless elegance to the room. It is particularly suitable for people with a connection to Erfurt or a penchant for nocturnal city views with a historical character.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
