About ‘Before the storm - Dance of the leaves’ by artefacti

A tree is depicted here, stretching under a dramatically moving sky, as if challenging the impending storm. The scene is bathed in dark, almost menacing colours that create a certain tension and expectation. The red leaves seem to be torn from the tree like sparks, filling the air with a vibrancy that stands in stark contrast to the gloomy surroundings. The ground is littered with a carpet of fallen leaves, the last witnesses of the past splendour. The picture epitomises a moment of calm before the storm, filled with the beauty and transience of nature.
