For this photo, I asked the owner (An acquaintance of mine) to have this handsome dog Milo lie down with his head flat on the ground.
I asked the owner to stand 2 or 3 meters to my left and make noises so that Milo looks at him with his ears forward.
I also picked a specific nature reserve with lots of forest and also enough moss (as shown in the photo) so that I can separate the dog from the green background during post-processing and I also want to get a calm and warm feeling from this photo.
For the photo, I used the full aperture for a small depth of field and a completely blurred background.
For me, this photo gives a form of peace and quiet which I would also like to pass on to you.
This photo was taken on a reasonably cloudy day with more than enough light to shoot with a low ISO and a not too short shutter speed with full aperture.
I am a fine art dog photographer who specializes in capturing dogs at their most beautiful, but in addition to dog photography I also photograph wildlife.
