I had gone high into the mountains in Austria on an early morning to photograph marmots and this is one of them.
This marmot was on the lookout because it heard other marmots nearby.
This was a great moment for me to capture this animal while he was on the uutlook, but even without photos I enjoyed it very much myself.
I also took this photo with a low ISO value because of direct sunlight and also to avoid noise.
With the green in the background on the mountain walls, I was able to easily separate this marmot from the background and bring it forward.
With this photo I would also like to give an atmosphere and a feeling that we also have a lot to do with nature and what actually happens daily in our society.
Marmots can of course be admired in the wild high up in the Alps in Switzerland, northern Italy and Austria, but also in the south of Bavaria, Germany.
I am a fine art dog photographer who specializes in capturing dogs at their most beautiful, but in addition to dog photography I also photograph wildlife.
