This photo exudes the holiday feeling. A feeling of freedom, of peace, of enjoying and of not having to do anything.
The sea, the beach and the dunes always evoke this holiday feeling in me. I always enjoy the Dutch coast, whether it is summer or any other time of year. The coastal area is always a wonderful inspiration for taking beautiful atmospheric photos.
This photo was taken on the coast of the Netherlands, in Cadzand to be precise.
The beautiful cloudy sky, the evening sun, the dunes, the white beach houses with cheerful yellows and blues, the sand of the beach where the warmth of the sun can still be felt, all this makes this photo a wonderful holiday picture. But the reflection of the beach houses in the seawater, left on the beach after high tide, completes the picture.
The layering in this work is also beautiful: the blue cloud sky, the soft green grass in the dunes, the cottages in white with bright colours, the warm colour of the sand of the beach and the calm water with the special reflection.
All in all, an atmospheric photo that immediately evokes holiday feelings and also reminds you after your holiday of that nice feeling of freedom, of peace, of enjoying and of not having to do anything.
