Bauhaus Art: Pink, Black & Red – Geometric Wall Art by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

This Bauhaus-inspired work is a powerful composition of colour, form and contrast. A striking pink circle forms the soft, playful centrepiece of the image, whilst a black area and a red area create depth, tension and a strong graphic character. The simple geometric shapes have been deliberately kept clean, giving the colours plenty of space to interact with one another.

The pink circle brings a touch of softness and contemporary energy to the composition. This is counterbalanced by the black area, which adds calm, strength and balance. The red area provides warmth and dynamism, giving the whole a distinct character. It is precisely these contrasting colours that create a work which immediately catches the eye, without losing its visual simplicity.

The geometric formal language refers to the principles of the Bauhaus, in which form, colour and composition take centre stage. The circle contrasts with the cleaner, more angular planes, creating an interesting interplay between round and straight, soft and powerful, playful and graphic. This results in a contemporary artwork that comes into its own in both modern and more distinctive interiors.

This piece fits beautifully into an interior where colour and personality play an important role. The pink adds a fresh, modern touch, whilst black and red provide warmth and character. On the wall, the artwork makes a powerful statement and can be beautifully combined with neutral tones, warm woods or other colourful interior details.

A graphic and timeless Bauhaus piece for lovers of bold shapes, striking colours and art with character.
