The picture shows a dense area of small, yellow leaves of the barberry (Berberis), which evenly cover the entire picture section. The inspiration for this work was the graphic effect of foliage structures on the surface. I was interested in how the repetition of simple, natural forms can create a harmonious but dynamic pattern. The barberry was chosen because of its striking leaf colour and dense growth habit.
The atmosphere is bright, friendly and organised. The picture invites the viewer to engage with the subtle differences in the uniformity. The message is restrained: nature creates order - not through perfection, but through diversity.
In interior design, this work is particularly suitable as a colourful accent. It brings light and structure to both modern and classic rooms and functions both as a large-scale background and as a decorative detail - for example in hallways, kitchens or light-flooded living areas.
