About the artwork

Baobab trees against the horizon of Senegal feels very African.
This is also because the six species of baobab trees are only found in that continent except for one.
Still, it is a question sight when you see these awesome giants standing on the horizon.
These baobab trees as they are also called are fascinating aren't they?
Their strange shape invites all kinds of stories about them.
One such story states that the creator who makes everything is said to have planted trees upside down.
Indeed, they seem to be upside down because the jagged crown looks a lot like root.
The hard fruits are huge and can be harvested.
Inside the hard shell you will find the flesh from which lemonade for rural Africa can be made.
It is the thickest tree in the world and grows on the African savannahs. These huge trunks are sometimes even used as housing.
Amazing how nature in Africa never ceases to amaze you.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
