Baby Cleopatra with a Cat – Egyptian Portrait by Peter Pen Drawings and Paintings

Old Master style with a playful historical twist, gold, deep blue and turquoise with a warm Egyptian atmosphere, a vertical, painterly portrait of Baby Cleopatra with Bastet, for a children’s room, living room or study

Baby Cleopatra discovers ancient Egypt in her own charming way. In a richly decorated palace, the little queen sits amidst deep blue fabrics, gold-coloured ornaments and Egyptian motifs, whilst she is intently engaged with a black cat reminiscent of the goddess Bastet. Her royal jewellery and classic Cleopatra look lend the scene a sense of historical grandeur, whilst her childlike engagement adds a touch of playfulness.
The combination of gold, blue, turquoise and warm earth tones gives the work a luxurious feel. A unique historical portrait for lovers of Egypt, Cleopatra, cats and Old Masters with a sense of humour. Also an original eye-catcher for an imaginative children’s bedroom.
