The Leuvenumse Beek meanders through the woods. It is an enchanted spot where a kingfisher can flash by, hunting for fish. In the event of prolonged rainfall the brook is allowed to overflow its banks. This prevents flooding downstream and at the same time provides a benefit to nature. All that water creates new hiding places for fish. (Text Natuurmonumenten).
