One of the most enchanting moments during my travels across America is the beginning of autumn. Nature turns into a painting of warm colours: gold, deep red, orange and copper. Whole hills and forests seem to glow, as if the landscape is slowly turning into fire - soft and impressive at the same time.
The air becomes fresher, the light softer, and everything seems to settle down for a moment. Driving through mountain passes or walking on quiet forest trails at this time of year feels like walking through a living painting. With every gust of wind, leaves swirl down like confetti, and sometimes you only have to stand still to really feel the season.
Autumn keeps showing me that change is not something to be afraid of. Like the rest of this wild, ever-changing world, it invites you to stand still, watch, and move with the rhythm of nature.
