Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Aurora over the Benelux’ by KC Photography

Beautiful red/pink coloured aurora/ aurora in the night sky over Benelux. The aurora is a plasma cloud of charged particles from the sun that penetrate our atmosphere via the earth's north or south pole. This is why northern lights are also called auroras. It causes a soft glow in the night sky, red, green, and all mixtures. Those who want to see the northern lights normally have to go to the far north. Only very rarely does it reach us. The aurora is mainly visible at high geographical latitudes. The sun's activity has an 11-year cycle. During that time, activity increases and then weakens again. The chance of auroras is greatest in years with high activity on the sun's surface, which manifests itself in a greater number of sunspots. When such a sunspot is pointed towards Earth, the charged particles released in the eruption can reach the Earth's atmosphere and cause auroras.
