About ‘Tomorrow Man artwork on Knokke-Heist breakwater’ by KC Photography

Long shutter shot of the beautiful artwork Tomorrow Man on a breakwater of the beach in Knokke-Heist, Flanders. Installed on a beach head, Tomorrow man is meant to erode and change colour. The sculpture is literally exposed to the elements: ebb and flow, sun, wind and rain. And that precisely etches the visual language Cathérine François wants to put in her sculpture: humanity's struggle against nature. The sculpture was created by artist Catherine François (born 1963). Her sculptures depict the extremes, birth and death, decay and flowering, all in constant motion.
