At the station on a bike after the rain. Train station from the bike shed. A bike bell with the last raindrops reflections and the trees behind the station. A daily composition for me.
I walk past the station and the bike shed a lot. There is always something to see many beautiful details. Sometimes raw sometimes very ordinary but always slightly different. The street provides many beautiful images.
Street photography and in black and white provides a nice raw image. It transforms an everyday image into a special photograph. What all the details you see the last rays of the sun shining in the road surface. The spots in the lens caused by the sun and rain. Perhaps a silhouette of a lone traveller on a deserted platform.
The train station has seen a lot over the years. Many people entered its Zaandijk station. Zaankanteropavadventure with the camera armed across the country. Fringe towns and industrial estates, as well as villages and coastlines. Photography digital and analogue from the camera for on the wall, of the living room waiting room, study or office.
