A macro photo of a flower of a Cape Pansy (Saintpaulia ionantha).
I also used multiple exposure for this photo. I find this a very nice photo technique to use. With the camera, you take multiple photos that are then immediately merged by the camera. The first result is always a surprise and the search for the perfect picture afterwards is a particularly fun photo project to do.
So for this photo, I photographed an ordinary flower of a houseplant. The flowers of this little plant are beautiful and always have a nice sheen, especially when the sunlight shines on them.
To give the photo an extra artistic twist, I mixed up two photos: one of the flowers and one of a macro shot of the pot in which this plant stands. This pot has a nice old structure and thus gives this photo a special creative touch.
The result is modern, partly abstract art in the bright complementary colors yellow and purple. To be cheerful about!
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
