Shot of fuchsia, digitally manipulated. This work is one of a series of many that I have digitally manipulated. I call them 'Photo Peintures' because I essentially paint with (digital) light. I try to create a personal impression of photographic reality. Not a realistic registration, but a personal feeling. However, it also leaves room for personal emotions or memories of the viewer. As a photographer, I have always felt the need to add value to the registered reality of my photos.
