Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Aratiatia Rapids, Taupo, New Zealand’ by Nynke Altenburg

The Aratiatia Rapids are a little further from the Huka falls in New Zealand near Taupo. The blue water and green trees and slabs contrast nicely.

A few times a day, the locks open to generate energy through the power of the water. The water flows into the river with tremendous force. That's what you see here too.
