Angel of Fantasy: Between Dragons and Snakes

by Robert Jan Smit

Some worlds exist only in our imagination. Yet this scene feels surprisingly real. In the midst of an enchanted landscape sits a majestic tricoloured cat, surrounded by a soft starry sky, twinkling light and magical creatures. Her radiant wings and golden halo make it clear that she is more than just an ordinary cat. She is the guardian of a hidden realm. At her side rest young dragons, curious yet watchful. At her feet, snakes wind their way, their scales glowing as if inscribed with ancient spells. Together, they are not enemies, but a harmonious company in which every creature has its own place. The scene exudes tranquillity, wisdom and protection.
The deep blue hues of the night contrast beautifully with the warm gold of the wings and the luminous details. This creates an image that reveals ever-new elements the longer you look at it. Every star, every glimmer and every tiny detail contributes to a world where fantasy seems to become reality.
This artwork appeals to lovers of cats, fantasy, dragons and fairy tales. It evokes a sense of wonder and invites you to escape from everyday reality for a moment. In a living room, bedroom, hobby room or children’s bedroom, it is a real eye-catcher that radiates both tranquillity and magic.
"Angel of Fantasy tussen Draken en Slangen" is an ode to the power of imagination and reminds us that the most beautiful worlds often come into being when we dare to dream.
