Jason Desmond Stuurhaan is from Leeuwarden and studied Autonomous Visual Arts at Minerva Academy. He is fascinated by staged photography and other new media. To enhance the malleability of an identity, everything is used to emphasise it: clothing, make- up, props, post-processing with Photoshop and filters. Everything matters in his work.
