About ‘Amersfoort Inner City’ by Mark de Weger

Amersfoort ) is a city and municipality in the east of the Dutch province of Utrecht in the middle of the country. The municipality has 158,712 inhabitants, called Amersfoorters, and has a total area of 63.86 km², of which 62.62 km² is land and 1.24 km² is water (January 31, 2022, Source: CBS[2]). In terms of population, it is the second largest city in the province of Utrecht and the fifteenth in the Netherlands. In addition to the main city of the same name, the municipality of Amersfoort consists of the much smaller centers Hoogland and Hooglanderveen.
Amersfoort is a growth city and fulfills an economic regional function with a strongly growing business community, has one of the largest railroad junctions in the Netherlands and is an important garrison city. The inner city has a medieval character with old defenses such as moats and city walls.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
