Bernese Oberland, Switzerland is home to many tall mountains that reach up to 4 kilometres in height. Among them, many glaciers of all sizes can be seen. Unfortunately, due to global warming, the ice glaciers are slowly starting to disappear. One cloudy morning, I was having breakfast in Grindelwald and enjoying the view when suddenly the sun broke through the clouds over a glacier. There was atmosphere enough in the air to cause rays of light to become visible in the sky passing over the glacier.
