It was only the end of September, but it had already snowed and it was freezing cold. There was already snow on the gravel road to Aldeyjarfoss, and in the area of drifts it was even quite deep. Nevertheless, I managed to get through to the waterfall - fortunately, because the atmosphere that morning with snow and ice and the sunrise was something very special.
