The picture was created in layers.
I started dark and opened it up again and again. Green, blue and red lie on top of each other, nothing is cleanly separated. The colour was allowed to run, to stand still, to retreat again.
As it dried, light-coloured areas appeared, almost like traces or remnants of light coming up from below.…
